Gardenias

The velvety touch of the petals, the brilliant green of the leaves and the fragrance...that unbelievable fragrance. My gardenias are blooming and I am enjoying every moment of it.
This beautiful flower is being displayed in one of a pair of champagne glasses given to us for our wedding in 1966.

Years ago we were able to get yellow gardenias. They were gorfeous. White or yellow that are delightfully fragrant.

How nice is that. I love the smell of gardenia's. Mine are just beginning to bud. I guess because you are in Florida that yours is in bloom due to your location. Don't you just love to smell up a room with them.

Ah, yes. I love that smell too. I had them growing in my front yard in California.
