Susan, those are priceless. I am surprised that the people in Amana sent postcards celebrating 'secular' holidays 100 years ago. rw

Postcards from the past are so beautiful. My mother left me a collection also - most from around 1910 or so. I treasure them and have framed some of them to display for the various holidays. I always get comments from guests about them. Thanks for sharing yours.

Oh they are great!!!

I have used your baguette recipe 2 times for a pizza dough, we have enjoyed it.

I was watching RFDtv and they had a blerp about trout fishing on Upper Lake Tani Como, its a man made lake on the Table Rock dam near Branson MO. The guide was Pete Hanson. Trout may want to check it out, a record trout came out of there at one point in time...but then he probably already know that:)
